SAN DIEGO (AP) A 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment complex near the San Diego waterfront is expected to rent to people who are looking for a place to live in San Francisco, Los Angeles or Seattle.
The complex, located in the San Fernando Valley neighborhood of Rancho Santa Fe, is owned by an independent developer who says it has about 100 properties to rent.
It has a rent of $2,500 a month, which is cheaper than the average rent in San Antonio, which averages $2.25 a month.
It’s one of the few properties in the region that has no rent controls, which could allow owners to increase rents or even remove them entirely.
The developers say they are working with tenants to reduce the cost of living in the complex, which includes a new kitchen, a laundry room, and a fitness center.
They are also building a garage and adding a laundry facility, according to the building’s website.
The building was listed for sale in May for $3.1 million.
The owner said he wants to build affordable housing in the area, and hopes to attract people who may not normally live in the neighborhood.
He said the complex has a population of about 2,000 and the apartments will provide a decent living space.
